DIRECTIONS FROM HARRISMITH/JOHANNESBURG

• On the N3 towards Durban, you will take the Nottingham Road Turn-Off (Exit 132)
• Turn left over the freeway, and you will see Linga Lapa on your left and Windmills Garage on your right. BTW – Linga LAPA makes amazing fresh health bread and GREAT biltong. They also have very good rib-eye steak, as well as a fine selection of wine and local craft beers. It’s also a great last stop for the few things you may have left behind.
• You will hit a dirt road shortly after that and will drive through Arlington forests on both sides of you.
• Approximately 7km from Linga Lapa, you will see the farm entrance on your left-hand side. You will see the newly built walls and entrance on your right in front of 7 OAK TREES.

Once you turn into the WHINSTONE farm entrance, at the first fork, KEEP RIGHT (you will see our sign) and follow the road down to the estate entrance, which will be open. We are number 5 and are the last farm on this new road – just keep following it (under power lines and then past some other homes on your left) till you go through the last farm gate. (You will see the cottage and our home in the valley on your way down – we are in front of the forest.) It is VERY EASY to spot Far Away Place as we have an airfield on our property too – so keep a lookout for three orange windsocks at the start, centre, and near the end of the runway as you travel down the hill towards us.
