Let The Adventure Begin – Find Your Way To Far Away Place From DURBAN KZN

DIRECTIONS FROM DURBAN

• On the N3, head towards Harrismith. (You will pass Midmar Dam on your left.)
• Take the LIONS RIVER / CURRYS POST turn-off, Exit 114.
• Turn right under the freeway and continue up the road. At the T-Junction, turn left towards Curry’s Post. (You will see FABLE & TAP ROOM on your left-hand side a few kilometres on).
• 1km from FABLE & TAP ROOM , you will hit the gravel road, and exactly 4 km on this dirt road, you will see the newly-built farm entrance for WHINSTONE ESTATE on your right-hand side, in front of 7 OAK TREES.
• Welcome! Once inside, we have signage that will clearly indicate with arrows which way to go to reach FAR AWAY PLACE.

Once you turn into the WHINSTONE farm entrance, at the first fork, KEEP RIGHT (you will see our sign) and follow the road down to the estate entrance, which will be open. We are number 5 and are the last farm on this new road – just keep following it (under power lines and then past some other homes on your left) till you go through the last farm gate. (You will see the cottage and our home in the valley on your way down – we are in front of the forest.) It is VERY EASY to spot Far Away Place as we have an airfield on our property too – so keep a lookout for three orange windsocks at the start, centre, and near the end of the runway as you travel down the hill towards us.
